Think about this; we shop online, we sell online, we date online, we advertise online, interviews are being conducted online and almost everything is turning digital. Most especially, with the onset of internet civilization, most people have taken upon themselves to either dodge office professions while maximally concentrating their efforts on making money online or using the online platform to make some extra bucks. The economy today is deafening to say the least and with the opportunity to shed more light towards your overall earnings, that decision is not to be prolonged. While you probably already know how to go about making money on the internet, could also be that you are looking for those bucks in all the wrong places.

Flipping domain names- This is a valuable tool for online money making where people make quite a substantial gain buying and selling domain names. The best trick is to use Google AdWords to find trending keywords and then using this info to buy those domain names that are likely to be in demand soon.
Doing Surveys online- Though these won't earn you much at a glance, they do add up when you need cash out of the blues. However, after you sign up with Surveyor companies, you will need to keep an eye out, checking emails often for opportunities to make sure you don't miss out on great chances.
Transcription- There are many freelancing sites online offering to pay for transcription services. While these won't pay you luxuriously, they don't require much effort either and you can easily maximize on profits by increasing workload.
Affiliate marketing- This is concerned with promoting other people's products and services without holding any inventory. This works by having affiliate advertisements incorporated into your website or blog through linked articles. Now your earning comes in when visitors to your site click on these links redirecting them to the client's article or site.
Articles Writing- Most websites and businesses need top notch articles to promote their services or increase traffic and are bound to require writing services often. You won't be making that much in the beginning that's true, but with time after you've honed your skills and you can now choose to set desired rates. Again if you are exceptionally skilled, you can try submitting your work for publications which will pay even better.

Tips to maximise on online money making
Start a blog- A blog lets you promote your work online while also giving you the added bonus of earning from affiliate programs and advertisements. So you want to maximize on your online earnings? Then know you need a blog and it's not an option.
If a deal is too good, think twice- You cannot afford to follow blindly when clients offer huge paychecks for work that is not comparable. Scam is next to normal today, so if something is too good to be true, you've got to be vigilant.
Maximize on social media- These social platforms that we regard to as leisure routes like Facebook and Twitter goes a long way to helping create a buzz within your website or online business. Social platforms help greatly in building brand recognition and awareness.
Expand on one Niche at a time- It appeals better to have a long queue of blogs in various categories at the same time but while this may sound amazingly great, you might miss the chance to optimize on either of these many categories. Choose the Niche that best defines you and after you are able to expand on it, now you can start working on the others.
Invest daily- If you are making money through a website, then consistency is key. With so much competition getting sloppy only works to whip you out of the game, your customers needs to relate to you being accessible and definitely dependable. Try to keep up with emails as much as possible because your customers will need a reason to stay and you've got to hand them a compelling one.
Be transparent - Trying to make easy money is like gambling your fate on real estate located in the desert. While there is survival for the fittest, you cannot rely on this because who's to say whether you are the best fit candidate? So flooding your site with ads in the attempt to make easy money is not exactly the best route as it gets overwhelming and bothersome for customers and visitors trying to comfortably navigate your site. Can you imagine if your ads pop out with every click on a certain website, people run as far as possible from such and hey, you want to drive them in and not away!
Online Scam
Sure you must have heard of online workers who've been shortchanged all because they trusted someone a little too much than they should have. As a freelancer, if your online work is focused on a certain freelancing site, you must remain vigilant at all times.
Get yourself well versed with the terms that revolve around the site's operations. Know the conditions that are safe for you to start working with a client and always agree on payment terms before the project starts. While most jobs on the internet are often risk confined, it is important to learn to trust your best judgment and especially to be careful with deals that seem too good to be true.

Finding Your Niche - Online Marketing Tips For Internet and Affiliate Marketers

Finding the appropriate marketing niche to enter can be hard. After all, as internet marketing becomes more popular, a lot of the less competitive niches are being grabbed up. On top of that, everyone in Internet marketing knows how to properly optimise for SEO purposes. So what's a new marketer to do?
First of all, there are always new terms being searched for every day. So if you target less competitive terms, you may find an entry point in the market. To do so, look at the competition on the first page results in Google without quotes. If you see several with page ranks of 1 or lower, you have a good shot of entering that market.
Second, it can help to look outside of marketing for carving your own niche. There are thousands of new products added to the market every week. With a little work, you can easily discover some and get your site to rank highly. For starters, just ask your family and friends what they would purchase online. Once you know that, you will know the type of products you should target.
If physical products aren't your thing, you can look into digital ebooks. These are a little harder to sell, but the affiliate commissions tend to be much higher. If you can find a less competitive keyword to target, you can easily enter the market in the area.
Don't limit your marketing niche to just Internet marketing products. There are thousands upon thousands of products on the market you can promote with a lot less effort. Take time to look at a few of them, and find the ones that you are most interested in. The rewards can be great if you take on a less competitive keyword!

What's The Difference Between A Reseller Program And Affiliate Program?

Many people ask me what's the difference between becoming an affiliate or a reseller? What's the simple answer? Let's say there is a resellers and an affiliate, they both sell the same digital service for XYZCO; however, there are significant differences between each person's agreement.
What is a Reseller? A reseller creates a reseller account with XYZCO, and then solicits (nicely) for customers to sign up under it for products or services. The reseller can sometimes provide the technical support for his or her customers and in some cases manages the billing directly with his/her clients then the order is fulfilled by the reseller company. Many companies offer while label solutions and ever customer support can be included to look like your service. With digital products, you get paid by your clients $xxx.xx amount then your reseller fulfils the order charging you your wholesale reseller rate $xx.xx so you make the difference on each order. Customers deal with the reseller directly, and resellers may set their prices at any level they choose.
What's an Affiliate? An affiliate is strictly an evangelist for our service. He or she refers customers or traffic to XYZCO, where they open their own accounts with the affiliate's special code to let us know who referred them. Affiliates are paid on commission by XYZCO and the current rate is an ongoing percentage of referred sales. Many affiliate programs pay a one-time commission; however, companies like SendPressReleases.com - Send Press Releases affiliate program offer a free program to sign up and you get paid forever on any of your referred clients allowing you to build a real affiliate business with digital products that sell.
There are pros and cons to each type of account, and which is right for you will depend upon how much time you would like to invest.
Key Points to Consider When Becoming a Reseller;
Getting started as a reseller is very easy and can be done within a few minutes. I would recommend taking some time and do a little research on the type of monetization terms each reseller program offers. Many key points for both reseller and affiliate can be the same and really come down to your potential profit and success with the individual program.
  1. How long does the software track client visitor cookies? Most reseller software will have a tracking cooking so if you refer someone using a referral tracking link, it will keep a record if they then purchase for up to 30/60/90 days and sometimes longer. Many people take time to get started and execute an order so this defiantly is a very important factor.
  2. Many reseller programs will pay you for your first referral that orders but then the terms might change. Ideally you would like to get paid on that client whenever they order.
  3. Simply said, read the terms a reseller provides you and see if they are fair and profitable. There are many types of reseller businesses that you could start so first you need to identify which type of reseller business model is right for you. Maybe the overall key factor is reselling something you have an interest or passion in? Choosing a reseller for the profit isn't always a bad idea either!
Key Points to Consider When Joining an Affiliate Program;
  1. Minimum payment threshold, this can be the amount you must generate before a payment will be released to you for your affiliate marketing efforts. The payment threshold can vary from program-to-program and can be anywhere from $5 to $100 and in some cases if you do not meet the terms (within 120 days as an example) you would forfeit your affiliate earnings. I would recommend learning the terms before joining any program no matter how great the initial profit model looks.
  2. Are the products you want to become affiliated with profitable and easy to process? This might be a very good question to ask your-self. Keep an eye out for shockingly high commissions, yes, sometimes Internet marketing is like pyramid schemes and if an affiliate program sounds too good to be true, it probably needs a closer look.
  3. Make money type of products and MLM. I am sure you know someone in one of these product categories, maybe they are even making money. Don't do it. Move in another direction, the statistics and numbers don't lie. These type of programs work on your greed and in many cases do not provide a products that justifies the potential. Do your homework..
What's Better an Affiliate Program or a Reseller Program?
This is the questions you need to determine yourself. With each comes their own set of pros and cons. With a reseller program you might have more of a standalone business that you can grow over time, however an affiliate program is easy to get started for free in many cases and can be a great part time business or second income.
Here is some statistic to reflect upon while you consider your options;
  • Affiliate marketing spend nears $5 Billion in the U.S.
  • Affiliate marketing drives a whopping 1% of the country's total GDP in the UK.
  • Approximately 15% of all digital media industry's revenue comes from affiliate marketing.
  • In 2016 over 80% of brands utilize affiliate marketing.
Why Does it Have Setup Fee?
Many reseller and affiliate programs will charge a setup or account fee to get started, and yes this is very common. Reseller programs that offer you a great program, support, even white-label client support to assist and help your clients for you on your behalf. This can be a fantastic situation and can allow you to operate your own business and have it sully supported by your affiliate reseller company. I find digital products that are in high demand, that also offer your clients support in your behalf are some of the best most effective programs.

How to Create a Successful Affiliate Marketing Campaign: Advice From Experts

Affiliate marketing has emerged to be one of the most effective ways of monetising online content. Although there are many true stories of individuals who have made small fortunes through affiliate marketing, this straightforward concept isn't as easy as it seems.
Here are tips on how to create a successful affiliate marketing campaign:
Select Your Niche
One of the most common mistakes made by people who are new to affiliate marketing is targeting a broad swath of the most lucrative and popular services and products. This makes it almost impossible to generate enough sustainable and relevant traffic to compete consistently. You can start off on a good note by choosing a type of content that you are interested in and capable of producing. You will then come up with a comprehensive plan for promoting relevant, in-demand products in your niche.
Search engines have been making changes on how they rank content, giving priority to high-quality content. This means that the best way to achieve lasting success is to become a reliable source of insight and information on topics that are natural to refer.
Create Valuable Content
A good program shifts away from pay-per-click marketing strategies and focuses on a specific target audience. The best way to establish productive relationships online is by delivering high-quality content. In short, this is what attracts the audience to your specific channel, makes them come back again and establishes a level of trust that helps your consumers feel comfortable to play a role in your campaign.
By providing your consumers with information that compels them to take action and make an informed purchasing decision, you become a valuable resource. They will return more often and share your content with their network.
Cross-Channel Promotion
While an important element of an effective content strategy for an affiliate marketing program is to make use of SEO best practices and copywriting to get search engine traffic, only a few can be successful without cross-channel marketing. A constant flow of traffic is what powers and affiliate marketing campaign and the best way to increase exposure, expand your reach and establish deeper connections is through cross-channel marketing.
Use Software Tools to Enhance Efficiency
It goes without saying that it is small details that make it difficult to run an affiliate marketing campaign. Online publishers and entrepreneurs who are getting started take their time to understand how certain software tools work to reduce the workload of running the campaigns and providing accuracy and insight in monetizing your content.
By using a solution that helps you link the right products to your blog, website or social media pages and provides all the tools you need to optimize, track and analyze your affiliate relations, you can be confident that you will get a stream of income from the campaigns.
Know Your Legal Obligations
Today, marketers are required to follow certain legal guidelines that govern how businesses are conducted online. The same way, affiliate marketing has areas of compliance that must be adhered to and understood.
While anyone involved in this marketing program is required to familiarise himself with current FTC regulations, it is important that you understand that any party that is involved in an affiliate relationship is required to make full disclosure. A good affiliate market works to win the support and trust of his audience. Let your audience know that you make money when they click on your affiliate link, and also that you give a good review for brands and products you endorse for free.

Why Affiliate Marketing Is the Best Way to Start an Online Business

If you've educated yourself enough with the information available to us via the internet, then you should have realised by now that your pursuit of a career in the corporate ladder is futile at best. Basically, the idea is to start as an intern, then a regular employee, then move up to a supervisory and/or managerial position and finally up to the executive levels of the corporate business that you're in. Personally, I have nothing against this kind of aspiration as I too once dreamt of such things myself; however, the toll it takes to get to EXACTLY where you want to be could at least take 30 years; 20 if you're exceptionally good at it.
The problem is we all can't be exceptional and aside from the fierce competition in play, you'll also have to face the insurmountable amount of bureaucracy, racism, favoritism, gender inequalities and other negative things in order to literally move up the ladder. The trade-off is not an ideal payoff even from an optimistically assessed standpoint. Therefore I would advocate that you start your own business and the cheapest way to do it is by building an affiliate marketing blog or website.
Defining Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is an easy income-generating business method where you take the role of the promoter and help the manufacturers and sellers connect with the end consumers. It should be clear that whether you take a passive or active role in this business, you are by no means the originator or creator of the products/services you promote. But you will get a small portion of the sales as compensation nevertheless. It's basically a 3-way relationship between you, the seller and the customer.
What Affiliate Marketing is NOT
If you get an unsolicited email inviting you to join an affiliate network and it's asking for an upfront payment, then you definitely have to scrutinize them and find out whether or not they're scam or legit. Go to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and find out about the company, if you can't find any, then go to affiliate marketing forums and discussion boards. They would know a lot about these scam sites as news spreads fast in social media and forums. Another thing to look for is if these people are selling you unrelated products or something that you will never be able to use, like the $350 "Secrets to Affiliate Marketing Success" book or some other catchy titles; although a few are genuine but they don't charge you that high.
The truth is you can learn basic affiliate marketing from top ranking websites and blogs. In fact, they can teach you more useful information than all those specialized books and DVDs that other people are selling. Becoming an affiliate is free when you sign up to affiliate marketing programs and the only thing that will really cost you money is web hosting, which is around $70 - $100 a year for your affiliate marketing blog. A few other expenses may include a unique website/blog logo (optional), your electric bill; hire a blog writer (optional because you can write the blogs yourself) and probably paid advertising to promote your website or blog (optional).
Types of Affiliate Marketing
What's interesting about affiliate marketing is that you can earn commissions in more ways than most people think. Allow me to explain the 3 different types of affiliate marketing and how you can earn through them.
1. Unattached Affiliate Marketing - This type of affiliate marketing will not require too much work from you, you don't even have to setup an affiliate marketing blog like those for Amazon Affiliate Programs. This is more like a PPC marketing (pay-per-click) where you just show affiliate ads on sites that allow this kind of marketing and then get a commission for each click through that web users make on the ads.
2. Related Affiliate Marketing - This type of marketing is where you are required to have some level of involvement and this is where you create an affiliate marketing blog or website and always show affiliate links on almost all of your website/blog pages. You also earn a commission for each time a web user clicks through the affiliate links.
3. Involved Affiliate Marketing - This kind of marketing may require you to actually use the products/services before you write a review about them and you should be able to write a more comprehensive and honest reviews.
You can choose from these 3 types of affiliate marketing methods, but most affiliate marketing programs uses the Type 2 affiliate marketing, which has some level of involvement and online presence from your end.
Putting the Cogs and Wheels Together
Now that you have an idea of what affiliate marketing is all about and what its common pitfalls are, you are ready to start your journey to financial freedom and a wealthy lifestyle! Affiliate marketing is just like any other type of business and you'll have to plan a strategy months or even years ahead before you begin, so I will give you the basic strategy of how to become an affiliate marketer, signing up for affiliate programs, setting up your affiliate marketing blog and all the other important details about it.
Steps to become an affiliate marketer:
1. Decide what niche topic you want to use for your blog or website. It's better to write reviews or general information about products/services that you're passionate about, because you will write better articles for them compared to those that you don't like. For instance, if you're mad about crochet or kids bicycles, then that is the niche you should pick for your blog! Affiliate programs have a huge inventory of items for sale and they do include crochets and bicycles for a fact. If you're more of the business-minded individual and you think you can write just about on anything, then by all means pick the niche that's most profitable among the lot.
2. Create your website and purchase a cheap but reliable web hosting. You don't need a web designer to build a website or a blog. You can use WordPress, Weebly, Web.com, Blogger, eHost and others to do that. Using their user-friendly "click & drag" features you can create your blog/website in 5 - 10 minutes!
3. Learn basic SEO and use it on your blog or website. Search engine optimization or SEO is a very good marketing strategy to allow your website to be known throughout the entire internet or at least the majority of it. If your website is easier to find in search engines, then it is more convenient for people to visit it, and more visitors means more money for you.
4. Learn social media marketing to extend your presence online. In reality social media marketing or SMM is also a part of the grand scheme of SEO and without it, your SEO campaign would not be as successful as you'd expect it to be. There are literally billions of people hanging around the web on a daily basis and much of them are in social media sites. It would be a logical choice to get visitors there for your website and increase your income potential.
5. Learn about paid advertising and consider it deeply on whether you need to use it or not. Paid ads help because they target the right kind of people who are already looking for products that you promote. Meaning there is a good chance that they will buy. Wouldn't you want them to buy products through your affiliate links? I would!
6. Start filling up your website with content. In case you plan to write boring and unimpressive blogs and articles, then I'd advise you to no longer continue in your pursuit of creating an affiliate marketing blog, because I promise you people will not want to read your blogs or visit your site. Write articles that will impress you first. This will let you know whether or not people will want to read about what you have to say. If you can find an extremely critical person to judge your writing, then that would be better as it will help you greatly improve on your writing style. Reader engagement is absolute in affiliate marketing. It will determine your income capacity, so do your best in writing content for your site above all else.
How you earn in affiliate marketing:
• The manufacturer/seller signs a partnership deal with the affiliate network or program and in turn, when you sign up with the affiliate network as an affiliate, the partner affiliate network will give you a small percentage share on every item you helped sold.
• You'll need to embed or display affiliate links on your website or affiliate marketing blog about the products you're promoting. The purpose of these links is to guide your blog readers to the seller's webpage (which is usually in the affiliate network's site) so that they can make purchases of the items they like.
• The percentage commission on each sale range from 1% - 10% (some give more than 10% but rarely) and this is how you generate income. For example, a web user happens by your blog about coffee machines and he/she read your blog review or informative article. The reader was impressed by your blog and decided to click on the affiliate link, then make a purchase of 1 coffee machine worth $350. If the affiliate network allowed 7% of that amount to be your commission, therefore your income for that sale alone will be $24.50.
• You may notice that $24.50 is a small amount and not enough to convince you to become an affiliate; however, if you were able to bring 10,000 visitors to your blog in the span of 30 days and about 4,382 people bought coffee machines for themselves, then your income for that particular month should be $107,359! If you're able to bring as much visitors to your website on a regular basis, then you can bet that your monthly income should be around these numbers. Now you can appreciate the value that SEO and SMM can do for your affiliate marketing business.
How Much can you Make?
The straight answer to this question is... there is NO LIMIT to how much you can earn. The website called Pickmyshaver.com around October or November 2013 and then 8 months later its regular monthly income became $8,446! If it had continued as is it would earn over $50,000 a month by now, except that it was purchased in Flippa by an anonymous buyer for $60,100 around June 2014. That's just 1 website and I'm pretty sure on your best day you can manage 2 - 3 sites for affiliate marketing.
At this point I will let you use your imagination as to how much you can earn; or is it how hard you desire to earn. It's entirely up to you. I am confident that this article should help you get started in creating your own affiliate marketing blog and earn not just money, but your freedom from the everyday worries of life. Once you start earning over $8,000 a month, then you can buy more time to spend it with the people that matters to you most - your family. I wish you all the best and don't forget to drop a comment below and tell me how affiliate marketing has changed your life like it has changed mine.

Make Money From Public Domain

When looking for suitable quality products to offer to their niche, many internet marketers overlook a rich source of already available material. There is a very rich vein of gold to be mined in the area of the "public domain". Lots of people have heard the term, without actually realising what it is, or, indeed, realising its massive potential in marketing terms. Yet, many established internet marketers regularly make money from this material
In fact, the public domain is a massive library of material, resources and rich content which can be used by marketers as a source of superb, highly sellable products. What is the public domain definition? The term refers to any material which is no longer in copyright. In this country, any intellectual property remains under copyright for 70 years after the date of the author's death.
So, what exactly is copyright? If a joiner makes a chair, it remains his property until he decides to sell it, hire it out or give it away. The same applies to intellectual property.
I am a musician as well as an internet marketer and I have many compositions in print. They are covered by copyright. If someone uses one of my works (especially in a professional setting) without my permission and/or without paying me a royalty for its use, they are, in the eyes of the law, guilty of theft. If they photocopy my music rather than buying their own copy, they are also guilty of theft. They have stolen money from me just as surely as if they had picked my pocket. If someone walked off with the joiner's chair without paying they would be guilty of exactly the same crime. So, if you are looking to use public domain material you must ensure that the work is definitely out of copyright or you could find yourself in trouble.
What are you able to do with this gigantic resource? Almost anything you want because nobody has the copyright, nobody has any control over it. The internet is bursting with sites to help you search for suitable material to sell through your online business. I have just typed "public domain resources" into Google which brought up the first page of 26,800,000 sites. That certainly gives you a pretty good idea of just how huge this resource is. If you want to find out how to make money online, this could be the answer. Whatever your niche or subject there will be information products available which will make perfect marketing material. The biggest plus of all is that it is all free.
There are fewer ways to make money easily than by using public domain. So, where's the catch? Amazingly, there isn't one. The only possible "catch", is to ensure that the material you are using is genuinely out of copyright and therefore in the public domain.
All these resources can be rebranded, just as you rebrand other products to personalise them. If you were to download an old manuscript in e-book form you could edit it, change the font, change any art work, add bits from other sources, remove bits, break up a lengthy work into bite-sized pieces, indeed, whatever you wanted to do with it.
This rich vein of highly saleable material should not be overlooked by internet marketers. It is one of the easiest ways to find really good quality products to sell. All that is required is a bit of time and research to create great products which will enable you to make money from public domain.

Basics of Choosing a Niche

Before you can even start building your Internet business, you will need to choose a niche to build your business around. After all, you cannot build any kind of business if you do not know what that business will be about. So before you buy a domain name, build a website, write a sales page, or even create a product, you need to choose a niche. But there is more to choosing a niche than just picking something out of thin air.
Many marketers say that you should choose a niche that you are passionate about. However, I don't think that is necessarily true. Just think about it for a few minutes.
What are you passionate about? How many other people are passionate about the same thing? Maybe you are passionate about gardening. Great! That would be a good niche to build your business around as there are hundreds of thousands, more likely millions of people interested in gardening. But if you are passionate about some obscure subject, how many people do you think have a passion for the same thing? Probably very few so how can you expect to make any money in that particular niche?
Think about it logically. Just being passionate about something may not be enough to build a profitable business around. In order to be successful, your chosen niche must have enough profit potential that you can actually make money in it. Otherwise, it will be just a hobby, not an actual business.
PLEASE NOTE: According to the IRS, if your business does not become profitable within a couple of years, then it is a hobby, not a business. And, the IRS does not allow tax deductions for hobbies. Choosing a profitable niche is the first step to building a profitable business instead of a hobby.
On the other hand, if you have absolutely no interest or very little interest in a niche, it will be very hard for you to work in that niche. Never choose a niche just because you think you can make a lot of money in it, especially if you do not have much interest in it.
If you choose a niche you have no interest in, you will end up making excuses for why you cannot work that day. You won't want to spend time creating products to promote to your subscribers. Without any products, you will not make any money in that niche. Plus, you'll have a hard time coming up with ideas to write articles about. Without articles, you have no content to send to your subscribers.
Since your subscribers joined your list because they thought you would help them solve their problems, you'll never be able to maintain your list of subscribers if you never send them the information they want.
So you will end up starting all over again in a different niche, wasting all of the time, effort and money you spent in a niche you end up abandoning. If you have some interest in a niche, it will be much easier for you to do the many tasks associated with building a profitable online business around that niche. So, whatever niche you chose should be something you are at least interested in or something you want to learn more about.
So, you really don't need to be passionate about the niche you choose but you do need to have some interest in it. While your ultimate goal is to make money, you will still need to choose a niche that you will enjoy working in.
In order to be successful, you can't be a small fish in a big ocean. All small fish either get eaten or they become lost in the vast numbers of larger fish.
You will need to do some research to find a niche which you can narrow down into one or more profitable sub-niches. You need to choose a sub-niche with a high demand for the products you will be creating and which also offers a large number of products you can promote as an affiliate.

The Fastest Way To Start A Profitable Online Business

Everything is easy in hindsight. If I hadn't made all those mistakes, I wouldn't have learned what not to do. Still, if I could go back and talk to my younger self, I would have a few words to say on the faster ways to grow an internet business from scratch. I hope this can help someone else on the same path.
Get The Best Education Online
Firstly I would start with getting the right education online. That's easy to say when you have found a good mentor. It's much more difficult when you are being bombarded with information from various different sources. There's an overwhelming array of information on the internet. When you start looking for ways to earn from the internet, you will be bombarded even more with all the 'best' ways to build your internet business.
There are two trains of thought when it comes to making money. You can build content and rely on Google and other search engines to rank your business. This is very tentative. Suppose Google doesn't like you or your content. You're not going to rank in this case. This means no traffic. Even if you do rank your content on Google, things can always change. Google can change. Ultimately they don't want you making money from them, unless they are making money too! Google is a business and like all businesses their goal is to make money, not friends.
Don't Rely On Google's Organic Listings
Use Google and create content. But don't rely on your blog to make you money. You can be disappointed over and over again, as I was. I'm not saying only to use paid advertising. Use your content too. Just don't rely on it. As for paid advertising, you need a product which sells first. You need to know your business model works. You need a good back-end of products and services which will keep paying you over and over for existing customers. This is something I didn't understand when I started out.
Use Back End Products
Back end products are often the way to make money online. You may break even on your front end products, or even make a loss. However, if you have a good range of back-end products in your sales funnel, you can make money later on. When you have a profitable sales funnel like this one, you can afford to use paid advertising. But make sure you test and measure first with a small budget. Don't spend money you can't afford to lose in the first instance.
Test And Measure Advertising
Your advertising might fail. Expect it to at first. Only by testing and measuring can you reliably scale up your advertising campaign. And only when it is profitable should you do so. Once you have an advert which produces a good return on investment, you can scale up.
It's Up To You
Everyone likes the idea of owning their own business. But not everyone has the discipline to follow through with it and make it a success. You are always responsible for your results and no-one else! It can be easy to get distracted when working online. Avoid being a 'busy fool'. That is, avoiding the important to do the unnecessary. This is easy to fall into when you work for yourself.
Money Producing Activities
As an online marketer you are paid for results, not time spent. This means you need to make everything you do create forward momentum. Concentrate on money producing activities and don't spend time on things which don't move your business forwards.
Focus On One Thing At A Time
There's a tonne of activities you can do online. And then there's all the distractions too. Avoid looking at emails and social media. It will only distract you. Write a 'to do' list before opening your laptop and prioritize them in order of importance. Avoid jumping from one course to another online. I did this for some time. Before I cold make progress in one direction, I had found another 'system' and set off on a tangent. Find something which works for you and keep going.
It's Not Easy
Remember an internet business is not easy. Like any business you need to work hard and consistently for a long period of time before you see results. If you're not prepared to do this have a long think about whether this is for you. I expected faster results in most of the systems I tried online. I failed over and over again until I found something which worked. Don't give up too easily because those who stick it out can make a lifestyle business which means never having to work for anyone else again! This is worth fighting through all the difficult times for!
Tough Times Are Ahead
There will be tough times. You will struggle and want to quit. Don't give up too easily. When you feel like this take some time out and charge up. One good thing about an internet business is that it can be very forgiving. You can always start again. Keep learning and developing yourself and looking into your actions and results. Don't keep doing something if it isn't working. Keep trying new things and eventually you will progress. Remember to keep investing in your knowledge. Your actions always come from this knowledge. Invest in joining a community who you can go to when things get tough. It's much wiser than trying to do everything by yourself. Remember, you are the glass ceiling of your business. Your knowledge, of lack of it, will either help your business grow, or limit it. Never stop developing yourself and your knowledge of what you are doing.

Make money by Selling Your Stuff Online

What Types Of Things Sell Online?
Not all items sell well online. Depending on what you have to sell, you may be better off having that yard sale after all. Like commerce of any kind, it's all about supply and demand. With this in mind, obviously things that are relatively rare that a lot of people would like to have do best. According to eBay, antiques, collectibles, memorabilia, rare books, designer handbags, DVD's and music CD's are a few of the items that tend to do well. I have personally found that used college textbooks can also be a great thing to sell online. Skip the beanie babies and most fiction books though; the market is just too saturated. If you are on the fence about selling something, it's best to check and see what other people are getting for the same or a similar item. Make sure to factor in the time it takes to take a picture, post and ship the item.
eBay vs. Amazon
There are many different websites that allow you to sell your stuff online, but I'm only looking at eBay and Amazon in this article because they represent the two most popular types of selling websites. eBay is primarily an auction based website. When you post something here, the listing only lasts for a certain amount of time, usually a week. When you enter the item, you will need to enter a "reserve price", this is the lowest amount you are willing to accept for the item. Keep in mind that the fees eBay charges are based on this reserve price. The more the reserve, the more eBay charges in fees. You can put a really low reserve price to cut down on fees, but check to see if the item is likely to sell for a decent price before doing this or you may end up selling it for $0.99. Amazon is a lot more straightforward. You can only sell a product that is already listed on their website, but that's virtually everything. Since you are selling a used item they already have on the website, you don't have to take a picture and your listing stays up until you sell it or take it down. The downside is that Amazon's fees are higher. So which is better? It really depends on what you're trying to sell. eBay let's you sell absolutely anything and with an auction there is the potential to make more money. Amazon is a lot less hassle though, and your time can be worth a lot.
Sellers Beware
I myself have been selling on Amazon and I recently had an experience that I thought was worth sharing. I have been using Amazon to sell old textbooks and a few DVD's. One day I logged in to my seller account to find that I had an extremely poor seller rating. When I clicked on my feedback, I found that one of the people I had sold a DVD to, had written a scathing review of the DVD and gave me a 1 out of 5 rating on my selling account. When I saw this, I was pretty upset. Instead of putting her review where it belonged on the product review page, she had used my seller feedback page. She may not have enjoyed the DVD, but I had done my job as a seller, which is to ship the correct item to the address listed in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, there isn't much I can do about it. I tried to contact the buyer to see if there was anything that I could do to get her to remove the negative feedback, but I never heard back from her. Part of the problem was that I didn't go out of my way to get feedback from the satisfied buyers. If I had, my seller rating wouldn't have taken such a big hit. I guess the lesson to be learned is that selling online really is a buyer's market. Do your best to make customers happy and follow up with them to get good feedback when they are.
There definitely is money to be made from selling your used stuff online, but you have to do your research and make sure the item you want to sell is worth the work involved. If you do, you may find that you are sitting on a good source of extra money.

How to Make Money Online Doing Affiliate Marketing the Right Way

Take a look on the internet today any you'll be bombarded with hundreds of ways to make money online doing this and that. Some sites will claim that you can make thousands of dollars while others will be a bit more modest. The amount you can make depends on a number of factors, the most important being the amount of time and research you are prepared to put into it. Like anything in life the more you put in the more you get out.
Like anything in life, if you rush into every opportunity you see without first doing research into the market you're destined to fail unless you're very lucky. Most people make money online doing affiliate marketing which is the business of selling somebody else product for a commission. The advantages here are that you don't have to come up with a product and most good affiliate programs provide support to their members. This can come in the form of lists of keywords which are proven to work well and advertising banners tha you can use on your website. The quality of this support does vary however so choose wisely.
In my opinion, affiliate marketing is the best way for beginners to make money online doing what is essentially a door to door sales job but without pounding the streets. Becoming an affiliate is easy and requires little or no financial outlay. There are products out there that can help you but in the beginning they are not necessary. Get a feel for what you are doing, read everything you can on affiliate marketing and take plenty of notes. Probably the most important decision to make is what product or service to promote. This comes with practice and experience but can be made easier by thinking about what interests you and those people close to you. Ask their opinions, after all, they are very similar to your target audience. With this information and ideas gained from market research you will be well equipped to begin your affiliate marketing career.
An unfortunate by-product of the rise in popularity of affiliate marketing is the increase in the number of people selling false or rehashed information to naive, unsuspecting people eager to begin making money online. These are usually easy to spot as their claims are so wild that it becomes obvious. Remember that if it sounds too good to be true it probably is!
The main thing to remember is to do your research first. You can make money online doing affiliate marketing, just make sure you're following the advice of a reputable mentor with a tried and trusted system.

5 Tips For Making Money Online In Affiliate Marketing

Don't Get Overly Ambitious
One of the biggest mistakes you can make when getting started is signing up for too many affiliate programs at once and trying to market them all. If you start out this way, you can be very easily overwhelmed and your ability to promote any of the products well will suffer. At first, just choose a few quality products by understanding the needs of the market and finding what fits in with your site's niche.
Take Advantage of Various Sources of Traffic
It's very common for affiliate marketers to display ads solely on their websites. Although there isn't anything wrong with this in and of itself, you should be aware that there are all kinds of alternate sources of traffic that you can take advantage of to promote your products. After all, the more traffic you direct to the sales page, the more likely you will be to make sales.
For example, you can use Google AdWords to direct traffic to your products' sales page. All you have to do is create an ad with your sales page URL as the link. It's important to remember that this method will require you to keep a constant eye on your conversion rate in order to make sure that you're bringing in more money than you're spending on the campaign.
Test, Track and Measure
Many online marketing experts recommend that you use multiple avenues of product promotion in order to determine what works and what falls flat. Split testing and measuring how well each campaign performs allows you to decide on the more appropriate course of action. Just tweaking a few things can have a dramatic impact on how much you make. Be sure to experiment with the placement of ads on your site since they'll be more noticeable in some areas. In most cases, your affiliate programs will provide you with statistical data, but there's no reason why you shouldn't take advantage of your own software for tracking conversions.
Research Product Demand
No matter how hard you try, if the product that you're promoting isn't in demand, you're not likely to get many sales. It's recommended that you take the time to do some basic research to see if a particular product is something that your audience would be interested in. If you receive a considerable amount of traffic, you may want to try conducting a poll or survey to find out directly from you customer base.
Find a Good Merchant
Every time you promote something through affiliate marketing, you're also vouching for the business or the person who sells the product so don't take your selections lightly. If your audience purchases a product that you've recommended to them and they're not happy with it, it can seriously hurt your reputation. They're probably not going to take any more of your advice and may even recommend that others stay away from your site as well. If you go with products that are sold by reputable companies with a record of quality, you'll benefit from improved customer satisfaction.
Earning money online as an affiliate is very competitive and can be costly if you don't have the right affiliate marketing tools. These tools must be able to brand you as authentic and knowledgeable in the affiliate marketing industry. Although, it takes tons of time to become successful and earn money online as an affiliate, This time can be minimised for you with the right affiliate marketing system.
