How Can I Create a Website That Makes Money?

Register a Domain Name that is related to your business. To add tremendous credibility to our business, have a domain name the same as your product. It makes your business more solid and dedicated. It makes the customers feel that they are not dealing with someone who will vanish after their order is placed.

Direct Response Website: Here's where some shine and the rest just don't get it. For example for a website to make the most money it must be a Direct Response website; it must focus on selling one product and get an immediate response in the form of an order or lead (preferably order).

Most sites exist as nothing more than portals leading their traffic off in all directions away from their site. A name page full of links is just that a home page fall full of links. It's not a profit machine and never can be.

A website created out of a hot sales letter and an image of your product makes you much more money than a website full of links ever will. This may be the exact opposite of what you have heard. If it is then what you heard was wrong.

Even now as I write this there are articles coming out from the big news sites saying that big time dot coms are falling. Because excess content only drowns your prospect and takes money out of your pocket.

I've been telling my own clients that for years now. Get to selling immediately. Excite them and sell them - Period.

Collect Emails & Market To Them

This is one of my favourite things to talk about because it's just so powerful.

Building a email list can improve your advertising efforts, help build a solid brand and of course help readers come back to your site, time after time. Email marketing can help your promotional efforts in a few different ways, such as direct email promotions, to deliver free reports that are monetized and my favourite, to drive traffic back to your site where you make money from other methods.

If you don't want to attempt making your own image, no problem. Do what I did when I first started. Meet a friend that does now how and tell them what you need. Go to Forums and find someone that can make you the image you need.
